Geocache Description:

If the onset of 2013 has you fearful of that unlucky number 13 being part of every day for the next year, you are among those who suffer from Triskaidekaphobia, the fear of number 13. We find such superstitions silly, so why not do what we plan to do...

Tuck your rabbit's foot in your pocket and join us at Farrell's Restaurant for some good cheer, great friends and great food! It's casual, so no need to chance breaking a mirror getting ready. If a black cat crosses in front of you, just take a different route. The restaurant is undergoing construction, so take care not to walk under any ladders, and if you find a penny on the way in, pick it up/knock on wood;it's your lucky day! If this is your first event, don't discount the value of beginner's luck!

The official gathering starts at 7:00 p.m. but it's always a good idea to come earlier for dinner. Be sure to check out the MENU and come hungry. You can expect great food, great service and a welcoming staff.

While it is not a requirement that you do so, we ask once again that you consider bringing a non-perishable food item or two which we will forward to the local food bank in the name of The Central Ct.Cachers. Your generosity in the past has been joyfully received.

The Central Connecticut Cacher's Nite Out is an evening gathering on the 2nd Tuesday of most months. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend...you don't have to reside in CT, and you certainly don't have to be an experienced cacher...new folks are most welcome! Let us know if this is your first event as we'd like to get acquainted. This event features new or rotating hosts every month, and changing locations. If you have an interest in hosting, please contact KD&MS. As host, you’ll select a location; get the coordinates; and copy and paste the event page and resubmit. There are a number of places in the Greater Hartford area to enjoy good food and drinks. Locations should be kid friendly, have no admission fee and be within the Central Connecticut/Greater Hartford area. Cachers from outside of the area are also encouraged to host, but we do ask that the event itself be held in the central CT area.
