If you are like me, your top two New Year's Resolutions are (1) get more exercise and (2) find more geocaches, not necessarily in that order. I have placed a few caches near some walking trails to help you with one or both of these goals. Now get out there and keep those resolutions!
Eldon Lyon Park is a 60-acre park in Bethany, Oklahoma, with sports fields, picnic facilities, and a playground. Oh, and a cemetery... the gravestones are gone but there is a beautiful marker telling about its history.
This cache is placed about 100 feet south of a small parking lot, and should be pretty easy if you have found a few caches. You can go right straight to get your smiley, or you can take the 1.5 mile loop and get some fresh air and a few other geocaches nearby while you are there.
