Saving Private Ryan is a 1998 American epic war film set during and following the invasion of Normandy in World War II. It was directed by Steven Spielberg and written by Robert Rodat. Noted for its graphic and realistic portrayal of war, the film is especially notable for the intensity of its opening 27 minutes, which depicts the Omaha Beach assault of June 6, 1944. Afterwards, it follows United States Army Rangers Captain John H. Miller (played by Tom Hanks) and seven other soldiers (Tom Sizemore, Edward Burns, Barry Pepper, Vin Diesel, Giovanni Ribisi, Adam Goldberg and Jeremy Davies) as they search for a paratrooper, Private First Class James Francis Ryan (Matt Damon), who is the last-surviving brother of four servicemen.


Private Ryan is trapped somewhere and is in grave danger! He needs YOUR help or he will not survive! The only way to save him is to sign the physical log in the cache container. So how do you do that? Well, that's the tricky part. The first thing you have to do is figure out where he is. Solve the puzzle below and you will find out where he is. Once you find Private Ryan, he is still not safe until you can solve an on site puzzle and figure out how to sign the log. You MUST sign the actual log to get credit for saving our soldier. Once you find the cache DO NOT BREAK THE CONTAINER! The field puzzle is part of the cache, so figure it out! All of the information you need to find him is right in front of you. Now get to it, Private Ryan is depending on you!
