A small group of novice cachers noticed there were no caches near this nature trail deep in the Everglades. So, we took this opportunity to motivate other cachers to visit the site and enjoy the scenery, including some impressive graffiti, by hiding our first cache. We hope others enjoy reading a bit about Florida history upon investigating the waypoint near this cache. You'll get a workout if nothing else.
When investigating the waypoint near this cache you will find a spot where you can see the waypoint (abandoned rocket silo), but you are actually safely outside the restricted area (be safe people). You might have to look around a bit, but the cache should be safely hidden in a round green container. Happy hunting!
