Acknowledgement of Country: I would like to pay my respects to the First People: the traditional custodians of the lands and waterways of Ngunnawal, Ngunawal and Ngambri Country. I would like to acknowledge that this geocache has been placed on what always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
A cache in memory of one of the greatest devices we have ever owned. Don’t know what it is? Come find this cache and find out!
The container is not the usual kind; it’s a little different. It only contains a logbook: once you find the cache, open the back, then unscrew! Please be gentle with it.
The cache is a simple 500m walk from the nearby carpark. It’s located on the bitumen part of the Black Wallaby Trail. You can either take the direct approach from the gate; or do the whole loop past Tankengine’s “Googong’s Gap” cache, and continue around to this cache. There are BBQ and picnic facilities nearby, so it would be an ideal spot for lunch. Take your time to enjoy the surrounding environment while you’re here. Good luck!
