258 Miles from Paddington Traditional Cache
Pendraphen: I can assure the previous seeker it wasn't on private land. There is no point causing grief to grumpy people as clearly they'll just be spoilsports and throw things that are no bother to them and not on their land!

Small cache containing a few swaps. Please bring your own pen. Parking opposite cache. This is a dead end road.
One of several disused railway structures in and around Pencader, this one is 258 miles and 69 chains from Paddington as can be seen from the painted marker on it. Pencader was the junction between the Carmarthen and Cardigan Railway and the Manchester and Milford Railway, both of which would be taken over by the GWR. This cache is on the CCR. To the south was Pencader Tunnel, the building of which bankrupted the CCR. North the railway continued to Pencader though much of the embankment that is evident here is now missing. The line closed to passenger traffic on 22nd February 1965 but milk traffic continued until 1973.
