Geocache Description:

American Legion Cemetery was given to the town of Appalachia by the town of Big Stone Gap. Appalachia maintains the final resting place of many folks.  It is in a beautiful location, surrounded by the mountains.

The cache is a film canister with a log hidden across the road from any gravestones.  No need to bother anything.  The cache is located where you might find some squirrels enjoying the day. Placed with permission from town manager of Appalachia .
