Quartzsite Meet and Greet Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Silverheels: Great fun meeting so many folks from all over the country. Because of such a large crowd, it was most important for everyone to have a more personal visit and get to meet new cachers with their own experiences and stories. Was able to use a SKP Geocaching protocol of changing tables every so often in order to accomplish this personalized exposure - kind of like speed dating. Most folks enjoyed it and made new friends and set up future caching adventures.

Geocache Description:

Another gathering of Crazy Cachers in Quartzsite, Arizona Thursday January 17, 2013 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm.  Prizes on the menu!  Would be great if you would like to bring some snacks to share.  Please bring stories, pictures, demos or questions about caching to share as well.  Smaller speed grouping will give a chance to meet  more new friends in a personal way and you'll be able to hear what they have to say much better too.

Join in at the Quartzsite Improvement Association building at 235 E. Ironwood just one block south of Main Street between Mesquite and Palo Verde Avenues.  This building is also known as the "QIA" and is the home of the famous "POW-WOW". Please log in your RSVP's!
