Cache is a bison with log only. BYOP. Plenty of parking is close by, but depending on when you come there may be plenty of muggles about, especially at GZ. The cache is not inside the locked zone of the facility and therefore is available during all daylight hours. The Riverview part of the park is closed at night.
Carrollton Boosters operates sports programs for local youth that include baseball, soccer, football and even lacrosse. My own kids have enjoyed these programs for years. A goal for the organization is to provide quality competition for kids in a sportsmanlike atmosphere for both kids and parents and from my observation, the objective has been served well. Few parents here cross that line where their emotions steer them into making an unfortunate scene. Perhaps it’s the laissez-faire attitude of most New Orleaneans that creates the atmosphere, but it may also be that the facilities that the Boosters operate sell adult beverages out of the concession stands. My guess is that this is the only place in the country that can get away with selling beer at little league games, leaving just another reason to want to live in this great city. Go NOLA.
