G.B.S walk #26 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

beavers clan: What should have been a maintenance walk today has turned into me archiving the series.A series of 37 caches & only 25 still in place with 12 missing.Im no longer going to keep replacing the missing ones as certain parts of the series have obviously been comprimised in recent times so im archiving the lot.
All remaining caches will be collected in over the next few days.
Thanks to all who have done the series & all the comments over the time the series has been out.

Geocache Description:

cache is a small clip lock tupperware.

The G.B.S walk  is a series starting at the old Grimethorpe pit site now known as park springs then heading up to Brierley and through to Shafton then ending back in Grimethorpe. It is a 10 mile walk taking in some great views of all three villages. Some of the paths are quite muddy so approptiate footwear recommended.Along the walk there are 37 caches.33 traditional,2 multis a final + a bonus cache.
To find the final cache you need to have found both parts of both multi caches as in the second parts of both multis are part coords for the final. Then in the final cache are a full set of coords for the bonus cache.None of the hides are overly hard & are a mixture of containers.Enjoy the series & take a moment at some of the cache sites to take in some stunning views.
This series was placed over two days & due to heavy cloud & tree cover in the woods the GPS was bouncing a bit and some of  the accuracy's were a bit out so all caches come with generous hints. All caches contain logs only so a pen/pencil required.
From park springs you will walk up through west haigh wood where you will see private wood & tresspassing signs,i have been in touch with BMBC & explained geocaching & have kindly been given permission to place caches in this wood as all paths through the woods are public right of ways so dont worry about the signs in this wood. There is no need to be entering the wooded areas as all caches in the woodland are within a few feet of footpath.
