Geocache Description:




The Flintstones was an animated TV show that ran from 1960 to 1966, produced by the highly successful Hanna-Barbera Productions. It was about a working-class Stone Age man and his family. What made the show popular was the fact that modern everyday concerns were transferred into a prehistoric setting.

The show took place in Bedrock. Dinosaurs, saber-toothed tigers, woolly mammoths, and other long-extinct animals co-existed with cavemen, except in this case the "cavemen" listen to records, talk on the telephone, attend drive-in movies, and go bowling at the Bedrock Bowling Alley; however their technology is made entirely out of prehistoric materials like wood and rock, and powered entirely by animals. (For example, when a character takes photographs with an instant camera, inside the camera box, a bird carves the picture on a stone tablet with its beak).

The Flintstones aired in prime time. It was the most financially successful network animated franchise until the debut of The Simpsons.

In the fifth season, an episode called "Indianrockolis 500" aired where Fred and Barney skip work and enter their new sports car in the Indianrockopolis 500 auto race. However, in order to not be discovered by his boss as well as their wives, Fred uses the now famous pseudonym "Goggles Paesano".

Write down the order in which the racers are first mentioned:
  • First racer mentioned = 1
  • Second racer mentioned = 2
  • Third racer = 3
  • . . .
  • Ninth racer = 9
  • Tenth racer mentioned = 0
  • Note 1: If a racer has already been mentioned, don't count him again.
  • Note 2: Pay no attention to the handful of duplicated numbers on the sides of the racecars (the animators screwed those up) but instead listen very carefully.

This location is a very neat spot, but it is also a late-night teen drinking hangout so watch for broken glass, old jagged junk, unexpected elevation changes, and deer poop!
