Geocache Description:

This cache is located at the Phenix City- Russell County War Casualties Memorial that is near Garrett-Harrison Stadium. This cache is one of two caches that are being used by Troop 100 and Andrew Wheeler's Eagle Scout Project bringing awareness to Historical Markers and Places in Phenix City.

Please stop for a moment to read the inscriptions on the Monuments and to honor the Russell County residents who have lost their lives in service to our country. There are five flags for each branch of the armed services and five Monuments, one each for World War I, World War II, the Vietnam War, and the Persian Gulf  War.
