A perfect location for a revitalising stop on a long journey through the north of the state, or just for a day out for the children.
This new park was open for play just before Christmas in 2012. It has everything your child (toddlers to teenagers) could want. The 25m flying fox is a hit with the older children. Across the fire brigade running track is a small man made lake and a skate park. Just across the highway is the local library, historic water tower and olympic size swimming pool. To the other side is the Kerang lawn tennis courts. This is a lovely area that caters for everyone. The Gannawarra Shire is to be commended on this recent upgrade to the play space and public toilets. Apparently there is even a sensory garden that incorporates a range of fragrant plants. Stay awhile and break your drive. Picnic facilities are also available nearby. Stealth may be required at times as this can be rather a busy area. You are looking for a key case. No room for a pen so byo.
