This traditional cache is hidden in the western end of the Mitchell's Pass reserve. Access to the cache is via informal tracks. You should not have to leave these tracks to find the cache, however, they are faint in some areas and the last part of the journey will require some careful negotiation of the terrain and rock ledges. Keep small kids close as you approach and then move around and down towards GZ.
The cache is most accessible from the Old Bathurst Rd side of the reserve. It is possible to access from Mitchells Pass, however, some scrambling up along wombat trails would then need to be performed until you reach GZ.
The cache is a medium Sistema container and contains room for swaps and trackables.
This is our first family cache and the location was chosen by our 4 year old GeoBoy. It is close to where we live so we are keen to come back and see visitors comments.
