The cache is located in a side alley just off Broad Street in the "Fine Old Town" of Bungay. To find the cache you will need to be discreet. There are plenty of muggles!
As with all of Bungay, this area is awash with history. The Georgian building close to the cache has been at various times a Corn Hall, a cinema, a laundry, a textile warehouse, an army surplus store and a theatre. In the early nineteenth century it was particularly associated with David Fisher, a theatrical entrepreneur and impresario who designed and built thirteen theatres throughout East Anglia, to serve the circuit of his touring company the "Norfolk and Suffolk Company of Comedians" In his time, David Fisher had sufficient prestige to attract top actors and personalities. In Bungay, for example, both Charles Dickens, and Daniel O'Connell the "Liberator of Ireland" both appeared at Fisher's behest
