Geocache Description:

The cache is near a bridge.  The bridge is along a path.  The path is near a lake.  The path goes between a pier on the lake and a picnic area on a hill.  You can park at the top by the Jack Creek picnic area or at the bottom by Pier #3 in Jack Creek Cove.

To get to either location take La Honda Drive to the top and drive into the Dixon Lake area.  Go past the Ranger building at the entrance (free entrance Monday through Friday, $5 a day on weekends) and turn left towards the "Primitive Area".  You can also park in the La Honda parking lot and walk in -- it isn't far.  To your immediate right is the Jack Creek picnic area with parking on the left.  Further down the road and around the corner where the horse trailers park is a side road that bottoms out at the Jack Creek Cove parking lot (closer to the cache).

After finding and logging the cache please place it back as you found it, if not better.

Bring something to write with, and in case of an emergency a cell phone although there are usually a few anglers around.  Be sure to also bring info on the other caches in the area so you can make it a more productive hike.  And check out Frank's Daley Ranch Roundup Challenge.

Congrats to Geodynamic for FTF!
