Roadside station SkyDome Kamioka 【道の駅 宙ドーム･神岡】

A Roadside Station is a government-designated rest area found along roads and highways in Japan.
In addition to providing places for travelers to rest, they are also intended to promote local tourism and trade.
Here you can see the real state of the Super-Kamiokande by the monitor, and Exhibition has also been.

Cache is hidden outside of the parking lot. Please bring your own pen.

ちょっと変わった建物で、面白そうな道の駅があります。
道の駅スカイドーム･神岡では、神岡鉱山の地下に造られた世界規模の宇宙素粒子観測装置である「スーパーカミオカンデ」の
観測データをリアルタイムモニター見ることが出来、実際の模型や使われている光電子増倍管の実物が展示されていています。
カミオカンデの生みの親であり、この装置によるニュートリノ研究でノーベル物理学賞を受賞した、小柴昌俊教授のコメントや
宇宙飛行士達のサイン等、建物の外にも目を引く物がありますので、是非ドライブの際には訪ねてほしい場所ですね。

キャッシュは、道の駅の外側にあります。スモールサイズですが、念の為に書くものを持ってきて下さい。
