Super-KamiokaNDE,
The origin of the name : Super-Kamioka Neutrino Detection Experiment. AND Super-Kamioka Nucleon Decay Experiment.
Super-Kamiokande is a neutrino observatory, It is the large water Cherenkov detector, Is the world's largest. The construction was started in 1991 and the observation began on April 1, 1996.
The Super-Kamiokande detector consists of a stainless-steel tank, 39.3m diameter and 41.4m tall, filled with 50,000 tons of ultra pure water. 13,014 photomultiplier tubes (PMT) are installed on the tank wall.
The detector is located at 1000 meter underground in the Kamioka-mine, Gifu-Prefecture, Japan.
Masatoshi Koshiba, Nobel Prize.
For his work directing the Kamioka experiments, and in particular for the first-ever detection of astrophysical neutrinos Masatoshi Koshiba was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2002.
Cache location.
There is an intermediate point toward the tunnel to enter the Super-Kamiokande, It is the breaking point that ordinary people can go.
Cache is hidden in the Left of the off-limits gate. Please bring your own pen.

この神岡の山の中で世界最大の観測装置を使って、世界最先端の科学研究が行われています。
小柴昌俊氏が設計を指導・監督した初代のカミオカンデは、1987年2月23日、大マゼラン星雲でおきた超新星爆発のよる
宇宙ニュートリノを史上初めて検出することに成功しました。
この功績により、小柴氏がノーベル物理学賞を受賞したことはとても著名な事実です。
現在は更に高性能な「Super-Kamiokande IV」として、神岡鉱山「池の山」の地下1000mの場所で観測が行われています。
スーパーカミオカンデ検出器は、直径39.3m・高さ41.4m、ステンレス製で円筒形の水タンクに50000tの超純水を蓄え、
その壁に設置された光電子増倍管と呼ばれる、13,014本の光センサーから構成されています。
実際にスーパーカミオカンデ検出器の内部に入ることは出来ませんが、毎年夏に一度だけ神岡鉱山内の探検ツアーが
実施されていますので、参加してみてはいかがでしょうか。
キャッシュは、スーパーカミオカンデの地下施設に入るトンネルの手前にあります。
一般人が行くことができる限界点で、立ち入り禁止ゲートの左側に隠されています。
サイズはマイクロですので、書くものを忘れずに持ってきて下さい。
