Blossoms Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Bremer Bay and during the summer months the beach is packed with 4WDs and people who set up sun shades and spend the day swimming, surfing (when the conditions are right) flying a kite, relaxing and more. Many games of cricket are played as the beach is hard and wide and great to play on.
To get to the beach follow a road called Native Dog Beach and just before the gravel there is a track on the left that leads to the beach. 2WDs can go most of the way and just before the beach there is a parking area and some toilets.
The cache for those in a 2WD is not too far - at the end of the beach, and from here you will have a great view of the length of the beach and a great spot to take some photos.
The cache is currently a very small container that fits only a log sheet. Please BYO pen. On a return visit in the future we will replace it with a larger container for swaps.
Enjoy the great place and plan to stay for several days (or weeks). 4WD owners have many places to explore as the beaches around Bremer Bay are suitable for driving on; however, take good care!
PLEASE NOTE. When replacing the container at GZ we found a mint container. Now it is a small black plumbing fitting. The original container, if still in the area, is not the official one anymore.
