Das 1906 im Jugendstil errichtete Bahnhofsgebäude in Meran bildet zusammen mit dem Kurhaus, den Grandhotels Palace und Emma, sowie anderen Gebäuden dieser Zeit ein Ensemble von einmaliger Atmosphäre. Das Bahnhofsgebäude steht seit April 2004 unter Denkmalschutz. Der Bahnhof in Meran ist einer der architektonischen Höhepunkte der historischen Bahnhöfe in Südtirol und heute noch original erhalten.

L’edificio della stazione di Merano, costruito nel 1906 in stile art nouveau, forma con il “Kurhaus” la casa di cura, i Grandhotel Palace e Emma, così come con altri edifici di questo tempo un insieme con un’atmosfera unica. L’edificio della stazione è stato posto sotto tutela nell’aprile del 2004. La stazione di Merano rappresenta uno dei high-light architettonici tra le storiche stazioni in Alto Adige ed è ancora oggi conservato in modo originale.

Built in 1906 in Art Nouveau style, the station building of Meran, together with the Meran Kurhaus, the Grand Hotel Palace and Emma, as well as other buildings of this time constituted an ensemble of unique atmosphere. The station building is a listed building since April 2004. The train station Meran is one of the architectural highlights of the historic railway stations in South Tyrol and still preserved original.
