Do you remember the daze of the old school yard??
Dickson College is a "thriving and vibrant College in Canberra's inner north". It used to be Dickson High School and my oldest brother was in the first cohort enrolled into the new Year 11 program in 1977. My other brothers and I (and my children too) also graduated from Dicko and we look back with fond memories on our school days.
No need to go into school grounds. Being located next to the Dickson Playing Fields gives the geohounds a good chance for a run (if there is no sport being played). Weekends can be busy with Majura Soccer using the pictches most Saturdays in winter and cricket is played in the summer. You should be able to sneak over here though and grab a quick cache. If you have time, wander down to check out the new Dickson Wetland area on the old Hawdon Oval - it is wonderful what they have created out of an old scrubby piece of oval.
The cache may be hard to spot and you may need a TOTT to retrieve. Container is a micro so no swaps and bring a pen.
Please leave container in place and just unscrew the bottom.
Pease log any DNFs and report any problems with the cache.
