A decent sized cache in a surprising location along the tranquil Tai Tam Reservoir road.
The British left a lot of intangible things in Hong Kong along with many tangible things like some beautiful colonial buildings, outdoor parks, a comprehensive water system and many military sites including battries, amories, AOPs and tunnels.
Naturally they also left a few of these to take care of natural functions when nature makes its call and this one is in the middle of a naturally beautiful Country Park. Originally part of the Tai Tam Hill Battery complex, this structure is the only thing left standing as the Battery was demolished to make way for Park Management Center.
I doubt very many people know about this place but being a curious geocacher, I hope it will be appreciated. Please keep it clean, neat and tidy. To keep smells and flies away, please take your business elsewhere :)
