Een serie die begin 2013 gepubliceerd zal worden in Amsterdam. Deze serie brengt je naar leuke en mooie plekjes langs (of bijna in) het water.

Het Stenen Hoofd

Kleine aanpassing in coördinaten, verstopplaats enkele meters veranderd sinds 11 Aug 2013

Deze aparte plek ligt aan de Van Diemenstraat.
Het Stenen Hoofd is een Strekdam aan het IJ, welke vaak bezocht door vissers en hondenbezitters
Het grasveld biedt een rustplek (met mooi uitzicht), de stenen pier biedt een uitdaging voor avonturiers. In de zomer wordt Het Stenen Hoofd tevens gebruikt voor (stads)strandfeesten en kleine festivals.

De cache is een uitdaging voor de avonturiers. De locatie is bijna IN het water, maar kan gemakkelijk met droge voeten bereikt worden. Het is echter niet aan te raden met kleine kinderen en met ijzel/gladheid.

Voor de bonus: Tel het aantal uitstekende metalen "J"s aan de metalen paar achteraan dit stuk pier (15 meter verderop). Tel links en rechts bij elkaar op. Dit levert A.

This is a special place at the Van Diemenstraat.
Het Stenen Hoofd is a breakwater in the river IJ, frequently visited by fishermen and dog owners. The lawn provides a place to rest (with a nice view over the water), the stone pier is a challenge for more adventurous people. In summertime, Het Stenen Hoofd is used for (city)beaches and small scale festivals.

This cache is a challenge for the adventurous cachers. The location is almost in the water, but you can get there without wading. The place is not recommended with little kids of when it is freezig/icy weather.

For the Bonus: Count the numbers of metal "J"s above the metal structure at the end of this pier (15m away). Left side + right side will give you A.
