薩埵峠(さったとうげ)は、歌川広重の浮世絵「東海道五十三次・由比」でも知られる、興津宿-由比宿を結ぶ、富士山の絶景ポイントです。
興津側、由比側どちらからでも行けますが、富士山が目の前に現れる感動は、興津側から登ったときの方が高いので、是非、興津側からアプローチしてみて下さい。
このキャッシュは、興津側からアプローチする際の入口となる、駐車場、休憩所に設置してあります。
興津駅から、薩埵峠を越えて、由比駅まで歩くと、３時間ぐらいかかります。
興津駅、由比駅からのアクセスは、要所要所に看板があるので、看板にそって歩いて下さい。

Satta Pass is very beautiful Mt.Fuji looking point. It is famous as Ukiyoe "東海道五十三次・由比".
You can access from Okitsu side and Yui side. But, I recommend you walk from Okitsu side.
This cache is places at start point from Okitsu side. There is parking rot and rest space.
It will take approximately 3 hours from Okitsu station to Yui station on foot.
There are many guide plate on the way from the station. It is felpful for hiking.
