Geocache Description:

This tree is very big indeed!
And at its base is what you need.

In plain view I hide the best.
Leave the sneaking for all the rest.

Cache is at coordinates given. Pull off to the side of the road. Keep an eye out for muggles. Be ready to act like you are talking on your phone.

This high area to the northwest of Brookston is called Hickory Ridge. It was formed by glaciers several jillion years ago. This tree was only a tiny sapling back then.

Across the road to the south a good ways away, there is a US Coast & Geodetic Survey benchmark called SPRING No. 2, dated to 1948.

By the way, this hill is wonderful to ride down on a bicycle, though getting up here is a bit of work.

FTF is TheWeisMan.

We always love it when you post a photo!
