KVARNER Cache 37 is located at ruines of old Roman's town Fulfinum near Omišalj on the island of Krk. This archaeological zone contains remains of an ancient city and an early Christian complex with a necropolis. The ancient city founded by Roman veterans in the first–second centuries occupies a vast area. It survived until the fifth century, when the early Christian monastery was built on the site. The monastery’s Church of Saint Nicolas is monumental in plan and has been preserved up to the roof cornice.
