Once upon a time, Imi and Vikki joined a worldwide treasure hunt. They enjoyed it so much that soon, they decided they wanted a cache of their very own in their beautiful village...and here it is, our very first cache! Imi and Vikki visit the cache regularly and top it up with goodies, so we hope this cache will live in its hide happily ever after...
The ‘Imagination Wander’ is a figure of eight loop, approximately 2.5 km long, around the footpaths of the village of Henham. While there are sections of road, most of the caches can only be found by venturing into the fields, so go on, get those wellies on! Due to the nature of the loop, it is unfortunately not wheelchair or buggy accessible.
Parking is available either at the church (grab the Henham Church Micro as you pass!) or on the High Street.
The caches are numbered but feel free to collect them in reverse order, or indeed whatever order you like! If you grab them in numerical order it takes you on a tour of the village’s walks, suitable for children and dogs. The caches themselves are based on the imaginative games my charges and I play together (I nanny for a family in the village), so all of the caches are very child friendly and most have goodies inside! We hope you enjoy the village and letting your imagination wander.
The cache: You are looking for a biggish plastic tube container with a pink lid. The cache is initially full of girly swaps- it is a princess cache after all- but feel free to swap with anything you like! This cache is easily accessed from the road but wheelchair users may need assistance to retrieve.
