Just because it's winter doesn't mean you can't get out and enjoy nature. C'mon, bundle up warm and come join us for a little hot cocoa and story telling.
Everyone is welcome. If you are an event veteran, great. We look forward to seeing you again. If you have never been to an event because you didn't know what to expect and are nervous about sitting around in a restaurant with a bunch of people you don't know, have no fear. We don't bite. Well, most of us anyway. Come on out and join us. We would love to have you. We are a very social bunch that enjoys meeting new people. You can pick up a lot of interesting and useful information about the hobby by hanging out with others that also enjoy it.
We will meet at the above coordinates at 10:00 am for a cup of hot cocoa. We can swap stories and trackables for a half hour or so. No big committment, just a little gathering of friends. It is probably going to be chilly out there, so we don't want to be standing around in the cold too long. Parking is unlimited as the meetup site is at a cul-de-sac on a dead end road with lots of room to park.
After the event there will be hike on the nearby trail that you are welcome to join in on. Bring a snack or a lunch if you wish.
Note: While the event itself is a 1/1 the hike afterwards is not.
It is still winter in New England. Please remember to dress appropriately in layers. Should there be inclement weather that could prevent us from enjoying ourselves on this day, I will make an announcement on this page so please check back here before heading out.
