Geocache Description:

Film Canister in Iven Herron Memorial Park.

Cache is located at a interesection of handful of trails in Iven Herron Memorial Park- 4 miles south of Kalispell on Foys Lake Road; restrooms, equestrian jumps, horse stalls, dressage arenas, cross-country ski trails and a great sledding hill in the winter! This intersection has an information board with a map of the trail system. There are quite a few other cache's in the area if your willing to do a little hiking! Trails are accesible year round, even in the winter. Lots of people cross country ski in here.

`IN 1977 Flathead County obtained 120 acres of Iven Herron’s grazing/timber property for use as a public park. (Part of the land was donated, part purchased). Later named Iven C. Herron Memorial Park, it is at that time by far the county’s largest park.`
