This cache is near Newcastle Racecourse and the Parkland Golf
Course.
As with most of our caches this is another good dog walking place which will take you through a pretty woodland (and all flat,especially for the oldies!). It never really gets busy as it’s not obvious how to get there which is why we’ve provided some extra info on where to turn and where to park.
Please do use the recommended parking – you may think you can park closer, but there is a 6 foot high wall between there and here.
We do not recommend visiting on race days (details below) as the area nearby will be chaos, otherwise it’s very peaceful and quiet. The cache is available all day but you need to use entrance shown in listing but there is no car parking here .
There are refreshments available nearby and a mini-golf course for the kids (in the interests of making sure the amenities for this cache are up to par, we may have to try it out!).
