Cache on Pine County recreational trail land that once was a railroad line. The rails are long gone, but snowmobiles, 4-wheelers, and hikers can now enjoy it, so why not add some caches as well? The trail, on the north side, runs parallel with Minnesota Highway 23.
Be smart about parking. Highway 23 is a very, very busy and it seems that almost all of the traffic exceeds the 55 mph speed limit so don't park on the side of the road. There are approaches every so often so for your own safety get off the highway.
