Geocache Description:

This is part of our "Historical Marker Series". How many Historical Markers do you drive by every day? How many have you ever actually stopped to read? So we decided this would be a good way to get people (and ourselves) to stop and read them. Take a moment to read the markers. You may learn something you didn't know. We did. None of the caches are actually on the markers but they are near by.

The first location we chose for this cache had a big Black Widow spider inhabiting it so be careful looking for this one. No spiders where we placed it but you just never know if she had neighbors move in.

After you've found this one and read the marker, take a walk across the street and read the Historical Marker at the Farmers Exchange. If the Exchange is open, go in and look around. The merchandise has changed over the years but the building has not.
