THE CONCEPTION: (part 1)

This story of GEOrge CACHEman begins on a beautiful summer night in Pleasant Valley, Ct. A young couple, Garmin Dakota CACHEman and Ivy NANOmi Magellan, were in the beginning stages of planning their future together...deciding to take a break from the everyday routine of going to work, coming home, working on wedding plans then straight to bed to only start all over in the AM...They planned a night of fun and relaxation at the local drive-in theater. After enjoying the first movie of the night, the second was rather boring and uneventful....which led to the “conception”! Soon after Garmin and Ivy were wed and eagerly waiting the arrival of there first born....

DAY 1: (Part 2)

With many nights of anticipation of their new baby, the day had finally arrived!! Only one question remained...Boy or Girl, GEOrge or GEOrgina???? On May 3rd at 9:42 AM they received their answer....ITS A BOY....GEOrge CACHEman!! Once they were able to bring home the baby, they made sure to keep his hospital band for the scrapbook...it simply read “GCGV0P”. After bringing the new addition to the family home they waited for what seemed like an eternity for the news to be published in the paper. You see, Garmin and Ivy had tried to hide the fact that she was pregnant in order to surprise family and friends. With the publication....everyone would know about their new bundle of joy! Once published, everyone was in a hurry to come over and get their first look at lil GEOrge.

Preschool years: (Part 3)

As GEOrge grew up and was flourishing in preschool....He could hardly wait for his favorite point of the day. Playtime with his mom after school. She would bring him to this playground and he felt as if he was the ruler. One of his all time favorite games to play was hide n seek. With GEOrge being so young, rules that you and I know of this game were slightly altered to accommodate his favorite part....being the seeker! As long as you were able to make the find, you could choose if you wanted to be the “seeker” or “hider”. His mother, Ivy, even started to keep track of the number of times that he was the “seeker” and “hider” to help him with his counting. Even though the numbers were quickly starting to become to big for him to count, he would immediately run to his chalk board once at home and adjust the numbers with his moms help. And everyday he would look up at his mom and simply ask “how many now mom?” By his 2nd year of doing this, his numbers were getting up there...on this particular day, Ivy responded with “OH BOY GEOrge...You hit a milestone today...1000 finds and you also have 27 hides” GEOrge was so excited and could not wait to get back out there and make his numbers grow!

Graduation:(Part 4)

As graduation day quickly approached, GEOrge was beginning to get nervous about his future. Not knowing if collage was the way to go or simply start working at the families Tupperware plant...which one is the better choice? GEOrge also had another big choice on the horizon...it was his first time being able to vote and it was a presidential election year. He had many debates with his friends about politics and who they were going to vote for but the most intense debates happened with his friend Chad. Chad had moved to Ct from Florida a couple years earlier and they became very close friends. GEOrge had his mind made up and wasn't willing to budge on his choice but Chad was determined to dangle on one candidate then flip over and dangle for the other...never really making his mind up...saying “ill decide once I'm in there”. ….Election day came and went and the debate switched back to collage/family factory. He decided to start working at the factory right out of high school. Once he graduated, he started at the factory and because he had so many ideas on how to improve the product, his father gave him an entry level position in the development department. Many of his ideas were mocked and/or simply skipped over by the senior members in the department....one idea tho, was brought to life... He had designed a container with four tabs, one on each side of the lid, which would be able to clamp down and seal tightly and have less chance of opening by accident. He called it “close n clamp”..which was later changed by the marketing department to “lock n lock”. The first of many great ideas he would come up with!

21:(Part 5)

A couple years have pasted and GEOrge has made great strides in his career, moving quickly up the corporate ladder and becoming one of the most reliable and well liked members in the development dept. One area that has hindered him is the fact that he is under 21 years of age and has missed out on some business meeting that have taken place outside of the boardroom. That issue will be remedied on May 3rd...finally turning 21! High school friends and fellow coworkers decide that they are going to treat him to a night on the town for his birthday... the night started off slow but quickly escalated into a night full of fun..and yet, GEOrge's mind was wondering back to work. Seeing all the shot glasses lined up on the bar filled with “Patron Citronge” struck his creative side....why stop at Tupperware? The company should look into other forms of revenue dealing with plastic! Seeing the orange liquor filled shot glasses made him think of his friend Chad... while helping him pack his car for a weekend of camping something fell out of one of the bags...every campers friend....a matchstick container! Although not a huge profit maker, it could bring the opportunity to venture into other products made from plastic such as peanut butter jars, soda preforms, magnetic key holders, etc. After enjoying his birthday with friends it was back to work the next day. He had his hands full with his new secret business plan to expand the companies product line. He worked night and day on his secret plan until he finally came up with a workable plan and presentation. Now to get all the key members together and present his new ideas.....but where to do this?

Dog:(Part 6)

Although his new business plan was met with some resistance at first, he was able to convince his dad and enough of the other senior members of the company to look further into the possibility of expanding the company. After all the hard work of putting the presentation together and getting the go ahead to see what would be needed for the expansion, GEOrge decided to treat himself to something that he had wanted since he was a small boy...a puppy! GEOrge had always wanted a puppy but the family was always too busy and never seemed to have the time to properly take care of one...Now is his time to make that dream come true. After doing some research online and talking to some people he decided on a Puggle..a cross between a beagle and a pug. After many visits to many different place he came across “the one”. As the puppy looked up at him with his big eyes and immediately started licking his cheek once he picked him up, it was a done deal...the newest addition to the family had been found. On the drive home from picking up his puppy, GEOrge was going through names in his head and, as fate would have it...”The Name Game” song came on the radio... The song was written by singer Shirley Ellis and released in 1965 and it seems like everyone knows it! GEOrge started singing the song with and decided to try it with “Puggle”...

“Puggle, Puggle, bo-buggle,

Banana-fana fo-fuggle

Fee-Fi-mo-muggle

Puggle”

Go ahead, I know your gonna try it lol

And that's where his new puppy gets his name from....Met “Muggle” the Puggle! As the months went by, Muggle became GEOrge's new best friend...Going everywhere with him. Being afraid that somehow his new best friend would end up getting lost at some point, GEOrge decided to make an appointment at the local vets office and get a trackable chip placed in his ear so he could always find him! The vet, Tessie, was very impressed with the way Muggle was being treated and could see the love GEOrge obviously had for his new companion. One day, while at Petco, GEOrge ran into Tessie and they began talking....Talking turned into exchanging phone numbers, which turned into a first date! Who would've guessed that buying his first puppy would end up being how he would meet such a wonderful person...the local vet!

Wedding:(Part 7)

After about a year of dating, GEOrge and Tessie decided to move in with each other. They planned on having there families meet at there house on Thanksgiving for the “first family holiday”. Garmin and Ivy had grown very fond of Tessie but had never had the chance to meet her family. Garmin and Ivy showed up first and soon after Tessie's parents arrived...”Mr. And Mrs. CACHEman....I'd like you to meet my parents, Frank and Donna Finder”. The families enjoyed talking and getting to know each other while watching a little football and waiting for the turkey day meal to be finished. Once dinner was served and everyone was seated around the table the conversation came up about middle names. Garmin and Ivy went first, and then explained the GEOrge did not have a middle name because they liked his name without one. Although Frank and Donna thought that was odd, they continued the conversation by talking about their middle names: Frank Thomas Finder (named after his grandfather), Donna Nancy Finder(named after her mothers sister) and Tessie Yasemin Finder(Donna's favorite flower).

After the families were finished with dinner, GEOrge managed to pull Frank aside for a couple mins and ask for his permission to propose to his daughter. Frank was delighted and granted him permission. Having the “go ahead” from her father, GEOrge started planning for a Christmas day proposal.

**Jump forward to Christmas morning**

After GEOrge, Tessie and Muggle finished opening their presents it was apparent that Tessie was a little upset but wouldn't say why..the morning went on and the couple ate breakfast and then curled up on the couch. GEOrge decided this was the right time to ask... he stood up and handed her a card which simply read: “HINT: in the tree!” Tessie, starting to feel a little nervous, stood up and started looking in the tree. Shortly after starting her search, her eyes lit up and she began smiling as she shouted “I FOUND IT”. So the wedding planning began. Conversation came up that she might want to hyphenate her last name because of the veterinary practice: Tessie Yasemin Finder-CACHEman. GEOrge understood and no problem with it. Planning went ahead without a hitch...except of course when they said “I do”.

Children:(Part 8)

After a couple years of being happily married, GEOrge and Tessie decided that it was time to start thinking about having children. Soon after, Tessie learned that she was indeed pregnant....they were blessed with MULTIple children at the same time....twins. The new topic around the house quickly became what the names would be. Before they knew it, nine months had passed by. While watching TV Tessie looked over and gave GEOrge the SIGNAL that it was time for a trip to the hospital. GEOrge emerged from the delivery room with great news for the family that had arrived at the hospital... “A boy and a girl” the stated. “DATUM WHERIGO CACHEman and JASMER CAMOmile CACHEman”

Once Tessie and the new babies were settled back into their hospital room, family members started to filter in. GEOrge made sure that everyone who entered signed the LOGBOOK which simply stated “The CACHEman MEGA-EVENT”. Soon after the family returned to their home and started adjusting to the new but exciting lifestyle they now had.

Tessie: (Part 9)

GEOrge and Tessie experienced a great life with each other and not only raised two beautiful children but also were able to thrive in their professional life's as well. As the children grew older older and eventually moved out and started their own life journey, GEOrge and Tessie spent time reflecting on their journey together. Seemed like it was just yesterday that GEOrge had stumbled in to get his puppy checked out and ended up meeting Tessie. Things could not have worked out any better! DATUM grew into a loving father himself and had started working at the families Tupperware plant. JASMER had yet to start her family but had become a very valuable asset in her mothers veterinary practice.

One day, as they were talking about their possible retirement and what they wanted to do with their time, Tessie started to feel ill. After a couple days of resting, she wasn't getting better and needed to get checked out at the hospital. After many weeks in the hospital in became apparent that she would never again take a breath outside the hospital walls. With GEOrge and her kids by her side, she quietly slipped away. GEOrge would end up visiting her everyday. No matter what the weather was like, he would make his way to see her and bring her flowers. While there he would let her know what had happened the past day and how the children were. GEOrge was lost without her.....

Retirement home: (Part 10)

As the days turned into weeks, weeks into months and months into years, GEOrge faithfully visited Tessie daily. The kids would frequently discuss the fact that their father had lost his SWAGger since moms passing and noticed that the house maintenance was not being kept up. DATUM and JASMER decided to sit down have a “the talk” with their father about selling the family house and moving into a retirement community. After much debate and even more resistance, GEOrge agreed. Downsizing and selling the house was very hard for GEOrge and seemed like it happened very quickly. Soon he was settled into his new place and was still able to visit Tessie. He enjoyed his daily talks with her and missed her deeply.

Final:

As the years passed and GEOrge settled into his new lifestyle at the retirement home he still had that feeling that something was missing. Both his kids were doing great and visited often to check in on their father. Both could notice that he had been declining in his daily activity and his health had been in question too. GEOrge and the kids had talked frequently about what he wanted when he passed....to have his ashes spread across the trails that he and Muggle had shared so many times. When GEOrge passed, there was a simple note written and placed next to his bed....
