A lovely viewpoint of the dam.
Today The Thirsty Ladies were set for a hike to the north west of Daley Ranch but the rainy weather persuaded us that a hike around the lake would be more prudent. We had wet weather gear, hats, gloves, cowls and scarfs too. Almost as we set off away from the cars the rain stopped but there was still a cold wind that would hit you when cresting a hill. We were disappointed to find we could not walk all the way around the lake as visitors are not allowed over the dam but we were determined so walked back and around to the other side where we placed this cache. So just be aware you can not get here from there or there from here across the dam.
