Please begin searching for the cache by parking at Shingletown Gap Trail Head. Although the cache is more accessible along Mtn. Road, there is no parking on either side of the road, and you will miss out on a beautiful hike. Shingletown Gap is located along route 45 between Boaslburg and Pine Grove Mills. Turn onto Mountain Road and drive all the way up Mtn. Road until you reach a yellow gate and a reservoir. Park at the trailhead.
From the trailhead, head west up a gravel road. Walk up the road about 100 yards and you will see a trail off to your right. Begin your journey on this trail. The property you will be walking on is owned by the State College Water Authority. Remember to only take pictures, and leave only footprints (leave no trace)!
