W jubileuszowym 2000r. tym pomnikiem czcimy pamięć wszystkich leśników mazowieckich, którzy oddali życie w walkach o niepodległość polski. Mówi o tym tablica na kamieniu głównym. Kamień Katyń- czci pamięci 724 leśników ofiar „Golgoty Wschodu” w tym 72 z Mazowsza z pierwszym dyrektorem Lasów Państwowych Adamem Loretem.
Kamień- Lasy Chojnowskie- przypomina leśników, którzy polegli w tutejszych lasach.
Kamienie w alei informują o leśnikach poległych w nadleśnictwach Mazowsza oraz fundatorach pomnika.
