Geocache Description:

After a break last year the 1st Camp Out returns for 2013, the details below are more in the style of William McGonagall than William Shakespeare

It is that time to plan camping events
Where to go this year, ladies and gents?
There are many places we have already been
Kinlochleven, frozen northland scene
From the wet lands of Glendaruel
To a windy Nydie, we fool
This year we are Southwards bound
To close by Newton Stewart town
The Balloch O’Dee trekking & camp site
Is where we will be for a couple o night (s)
The campsite is very relaxed and laid back
However during the night it's completely pitch black
There is on the site, no electric light
So please remember your flash light
The toilets at night are lit by a candle
Will-I-Am has an explosion theory scandal
But with darkness comes the chance for star gazing
Photo opportunities and painting with lights, its amazing
The site is close to the dark skies park
Cloud free skies will make it a lark
We have a bbq and a large fire pit
And a cooking pole for over it
Are there any volunteers to give it a try?
Either that or with the bbq we will get by
The camp site allows camp fire sing songs
So your musical instruments please bring along
And round the campfire in the evening we'll meet
And sing our favourite ditties, how sweet!
The site has plenty of room for us all
But the number of powered pitches is small
So if electric you do require
Please call soon & enquire
Close to the site there is loads to do
Pony Trekking, Walking and Caches for you
Ice Creameries, Hills to Climb, Long Zip Wire
Mountain Biking in forests, don’t burst a tyre
We will be at the campsite, Balloch O Dee
From Friday 10th May around about three
Leaving on Sunday after lunch
All are welcome, we’re a friendly bunch
Non campers are welcome to visit whenever
For fun, food, hi jinks and even a blether
Karen Fae Angus is in charge of the sun
So please come along and join in the fun

To book a pitch please call James on 07967666908 or email him on theperfecthideaway@live.co.uk. Further details of the weekend will be shared closer to the date
