Caching brings out the best in some people. We had the great fortune to meet up with another caching team that lived around the corner from us and became very fast friends. We 'clicked' on so many levels that it was pretty crazy. But when it came to caching, it was clear that they thought on a completely different level than the average joe. They had a cache somewhere near here that remains one of our all-time favorites. But, when they moved away, they took the cache with them.
A going-away party was held for them before they left. Taylor4 won the best door prize - an ammo can loaded full of swag. We promised to get that ammo can out in short order. Uh, yeah, "short" can be a relative term, I guess. So we hid the can from the Crew's going away party at a place near the Crew's best cache.
But what to call it? Hmmm, what was the name of their cache? I forget.
- Thermometer Blowy?
- There's a poking boring?
- Thank a poor iblong?
- There's a for-a you'se a lawn eh?
- Therapeutic sable on deer
None of these names make any sense. But then, neither did the original cache name.
Oh, wait, I remember now. Therapy for Blondies. Let's run with that.
