this brook when i growed up have a big beaver dam on it above the road.the beaver house was on an island in the middle of the flooded area.we used to skate on pond in the winter.my father was scared we would drown here so he had the beavers lived traped and taken to the barrington river then he tore out the dam and destroyed the house..they never came back..a few years later while playing around the brook i fell in and would have drowned if my sister pug had not jumped in and pulled me out.Hibbard's Brook comed out of clemets pond by an under ground waterway.Hibbard's Brook school was were allen christie's bodyshop is now.where the cache is ,there is the remients of the old blacksmith shop trom the 1800's
