zanna: Construction is wide-spread and on-going. GZ will have completely changed by the time all is said and done (heck, the new stadium may be directly on top of the cache location.) I'm archiving this one and when the new stadium is complete, I'll look at placing something similar.

Geocache Description:

It's been a familiar call since 2010: actor Samuel L Jackson encouraging Falcons' fans to RISE UP! The slogan was designed to show enthusiasm for the team and commitment to the team's civic pride.

For over two decades, the Atlanta Falcons have called the Georgia Dome their home. The only major league sports team founded and still playing in Atlanta, the Falcons brought NFL to the peach state in 1966. They began in Fulton County Stadium but are now a dome team who thrilled the city in January 1999 when they upset the Vikings and made the Super Bowl. Once among the league's lovable losers, the team hasn't had a losing season since 2007.

You'll need to "Rise Up" to reach this cache. Please use both hands when reaching for the container. Be careful when retrieving and replacing as the cache could be lost for good if you don't take the time and check that it is secure. There is only one way the cache can be placed back so please take care of it! Enjoy the nice view of the GA Dome and skyline and of course, GO FALCONS!
