This route was mapped out for a night hike by 24th Macclesfield Scout group, hence the name.
This route of about 3 miles is best started from Ridgegate reservoir (opposite the Leather Smithy) and followed in a clockwise direction.
Views from here over Ridgegate Reservoir which was constructed in the late 19th century to provide drinking water for the town of Macclesfield.
