Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the ‘Westridge Wander’ series – meant to complement the ‘Wotton Wander’ series of caches nearby. The series will take you on a trek through the woods. All of the caches are camouflaged so will take some finding.

This is the sixth in the series. Again you are near to the Brackenbury Ditches - site of an ancient, and substantial, Hill Fort, and again the tree cover may play havoc with the coordinates so scout around a bit and use your geocaching nose!! The cache is a camouflaged container similar to number 1 and 7 in this series 'Happy Scoter' sums up this series by saying "I have to say this series has been good but both very frustrating and rewarding. The range of emotions whilst looking for some of these has gone from eager over confidence at a quick find to frustration, then anger followed by defeatist depression before the old 'one more go at it before I say stuff it'. Then comes that elation of finding the little swine and the smug satisfied smile on your face as you sign the log." 23/6/13
