at this location you will be looking for a bottle cap container, painted black to blend with the shadows. no room for trades or a pen, so please bring your own writing implement. this one is on a flat level grassy surface and will be a 1 terrain in all but the wettest of times, and should be accessible to all. as with all cemetery hides this one is daylight hours only, and not hidden in a disrespectfully manner
i found a couple caches in this cemetery, recently placed in a flush of new area caches by some new players. i always knew this was a good sized cemetery, but was surprised at how big it is. i enjoy cemetery caches because i like to look around, and the old sections and markers always have something interesting to be seen. this one is no different, except the caches are not near the older sections of the cemetery. after my visit to seek the new caches i came over here to look around at the older grave markers. at that time i saw what i thought was a good cache home. so i decided to add one in the old area to make sure everyone remembers to stop here as well. it will also be a nice thank you for all the new caches in the area.
there is a civil war soldiers memorial near by. you can also see a woodsman of the world type "tree" marker. this one is a little different from any i've seen in the past as it has a wide brimmed cowboy type hat carved at the base of the tree. you'll also find many old white marble markers in tablet and obelisk, just what you'd expect to see in a cemetery of that time period, enjoy.
congratulations to Scoutmaster2012 and Daugherty550 for FTF on 1-13-13
