Sand, Sea and Sunglasses - 2013
Saturday 23rd February 2013 – 12.00 p.m. - 2.30 p.m. The Templebar Inn – Amroth
After a successful event a year ago I have decided to hold another, but closer to the beach this time.
There is an event that celebrates Christmas in the middle of the year, so we are going to do things the other way round, and celebrate summer, and brighten up the winter days now that Christmas has gone.Please come dressed in your brightest clothes, the more colourful the better and bring your sunglasses with you, so we all can pretend its the middle of summer, instead of winter. If you are feeling enough brave you can wear shorts and flip flops if you want! This event is not far from the beach, and if you are feeling brave you could go for a dip.The pub does a selection of bar meals – see below for menu. The pub is also dog and children friendly, and walking boots friendly. Please log your intentions as with other events of this kind, and let me know how many people will be attending and whether you will be eating or not.
This event is being held so fellow cachers can meet up, and put a face to some of the names that you have see on logs. It is also a chance to show geocoins that are too precious to send out travelling, please feel free to bring coins to just show off.
