'De Butts' is the pet-name accorded to the main car-park for Youghal beach. It lies at the centre of Youghal's tourist industry and also social life.
This is a large carpark, with room for hundreds of cars. Unfortunately, a barrier at the entrance prevents any caravans, buses or even big public service vehicles such as ambulances, from entry.
From this spot, you can chose to walk for miles on the long beach. Heading townwards, you can take advantage of the fine Boardwalk (and the Youghal Beach Boardwalk cache) followed by the Promenade (and the Old Railway Station cache).
Nearby facilities include the very popular public swimming pool and leisure centre, and the local pitch and putt course. The cache is a small plastic container. ø¤º°`°º¤ø¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø Happy Hunting!!! ø¤º°`°º¤ø¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø
