Geocache Description:

This is a large cache located just off the parking area at the top of Skyline Park.

This park is a great part of my childhood memories, long before it was a park. As a kid in Jr Hi my friends and i would come up to what was then another Flint Hills Mound. All grass and huge rocks where the rain has washed away the topsoil. I watached as the mound was overtaken by the city. At least they left us this lil bit of ewhat once was!

The cache is just off the upper old parking lot. There are no vehicles allowed now, so the best parking is right at the entrance to the park at Skyline dr. An easy hike up a paved road, and then just a touch of bushwhacking to make it interesting.
