Geocache Description:


One of five you can pick up while taking a quick drive up Cannon Gap Road. This is a winding road & warn you to drive with great caution. All are easy Park & Grabs except one. Pull off parking at each cache & we did not place them around any "Posted Signs".

Now this is the one that is not an easy P&G. This location is what brought me to Cannon Gap. I love haunted stories & seek the place in which the story evolved. According to tales told, this was a new home being built for a young couple & as you will see, construction came to a sudden hault. During the building of the home one by one workers mysteriously died & one worker, so overcome by fear hung himself. All ghost stories have a legend & as I have heard anyone who... well maybe I shouldn't say because if I did you might skip this one & miss the chance of earning your smiley. But I can tell you this, I have been all over the area prior to placing my cache & I am still enjoying life.
