TPT #1 - The Boxer Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not repaired it I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Many thanks,

Geocache Description:

Part one of a series of four caches located on the Trans Penine Trail in Killamarsh on this stretch runs through Beighton village through Rother Valley Country Park along the old disused railway lines now made into the trail and onward to Chesterfield. Nearby at the start of the trail there is a memorial to local sporting people and to a fallen soldier fron the Afgan war which is worth taking a few minutes to visit
The trail is one I have walked along many times when I resided in Killamarsh and is quite scenic especially on an early misty morning or when fresh snow has fallen.
The trail is very popular both with walkers, mountain bikers and horse riders
Park on Forge Lane where there is new access onto the trail
The first cache is a 35mm film container micro cache.
Plse make sure you have a pen or pencil.
