Geocache Description:

The National Hockey League owners locked out the players at the beginning of the 2012-13 NHL season. The labor dispute was mostly about money, while the fans (the source of most of the revenue) suffered without NHL hockey for months. Finally, the players and owners came to an agreement and NHL hockey resumed in mid-January 2013.

As any hockey fan, I was excited that they returned, and my first puzzle cache celebrated their return. You will have to solve the puzzle to find the location of the cache. If you are a hockey fan, it will not likely be very difficult. If you are not a fan, you will likely learn a few things about teams and players as you do your research. This puzzle will get harder as the years go by since a lot of these players will eventually change teams or retire.

If you get a chance, watch a game this year--it's exciting, fast-paced, and entertaining! It does not have to be an NHL game--there are some local teams in the Metroplex that provide great hockey as well. Have fun!
