Geocache Description:

A Cemetery Cache.

This cache is located in New Salem Cemetery just outside Rockdale, Texas. I lived in this town for a number of years and passed by this site numerous times and had no idea it was here. The site is home to both New and Old Salem Cemeteries. There's no clear demarcation between them, and the site is not very well maintained, so watch your step. One of the more legible headstones has a burial date of 1903.
